As part of the Underground Sociabilities you complete several projects that put you in touch with communities and their challenges, as well as individuals and organizations that are finding creative solutions. These projects are exciting and transforming. These projects take you into the community.

The Community Perspective Project

You’ll study a community and its assets, and develop a plan for its future. You have your choice of the community.

The Service Learning Project
You work with a grassroots community organization in order to help out and learn how nonprofits are addressing community challenges. Some alums today continue to volunteer for the organization they served while in Underground Sociabilities.
